Derek brings over two decades of experience in strategy, operations, and transformation across retail, consumer goods, and supply chain industries. He has held senior executive roles, including General Manager of Business Development at NARTA and Director of Growth and Operations at Electrolux, where he led successful large-scale business improvement and growth initiatives, established high-performing teams that enhance customer value and profitability. Derek is passionate about fostering innovation, empowering teams, and shaping the future of retail through data-driven insights, operational excellence, and sustainable business practices.

Adrian Mitchell has more than 25 years' experience in the Australian consumer electronics and appliance industry. Since joining BSR Group in 2012, Adrian has held executive leadership roles spanning marketing, eCommerce, customer experience, and technology, playing a key role in the Group's digital transformation and the evolution of its omnichannel retail capabilities. As Chief Transformation Officer, Adrian partners with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute the Group's enterprise strategy. He leads strategic planning, organisational transformation and enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance collaboration, improve operational performance, and deliver long-term value for members, suppliers, and customers. His responsibilities span business transformation, data and AI strategy, enterprise governance, continuous improvement, and the delivery of the Group's highest-priority strategic initiatives.

Andre brings more than 20 years of international finance leadership across Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Russia. A Chartered Accountant who trained and qualified with the Big Four, he has held CFO roles across retail, manufacturing and consumer goods, including more than a decade with Steinhoff UK, a $1.1bn vertically integrated retail and manufacturing group spanning household furniture and bedding brands. Andre is a hands-on leader known for building finance teams into true value-adding partners to the business, with deep expertise in cash flow and treasury, supply chain optimisation, and strategic financial leadership. At BSR Group he leads Finance, IT and Procurement, driving cost efficiency, strong governance and a single source of truth to support the Group's franchisees and long-term growth.

Gavin has over 30 years’ experience in the consumer electronics and appliance industry. Starting as a retail store floor manager early in his career, Gavin became Betta Stores Limited youngest State Manager at the age of 25. He then went on to hold a number of National Senior Management roles within BSL. Prior to joining the senior leadership team of BSR Group in 2011, Gavin also held a number of Senior roles at the National Associated Retail Traders of Australia (NARTA) for 5 years in Sydney across Strategic planning, Merchandising, Buying, Category Management & Marketing. Since joining BSR, Gavin managed the merchandising and retail services teams, which provide direct support to the BSR Group’s network of member stores and more recently Chief Operating Officer overseeing the wider operations of the business across many departments and being an integral part of the Strategic direction for the group.

Lucy has extensive experience in corporate governance and legal affairs, having worked closely with Boards and executive leadership teams across a range of ASX-listed organisations, including Cromwell Property Group and other major companies. Her background includes providing strategic legal advice, overseeing governance frameworks, and supporting organisations through complex regulatory and compliance environments. Lucy’s depth of experience and strong governance focus support BSR as the business continues to grow and evolve.

With over 30 years of experience spanning Human Resources and Industrial Relations, Renee is an experienced HR Professional who has worked in local government, manufacturing, FMCG, IT and retail sectors. Renee brings a depth of perspective in both corporate and public environments. Operating at both a local and global scale, Renee has worked for globally recognised companies Coca-Cola Amatil and Fujitsu Australia Ltd, across Australia and the broader APAC region. A trusted business partner, Renee has a proven track record of aligning HR strategy with commercial objectives, supporting leaders and staff through periods of growth, change and transformation. Renee’s purpose is to collaborate with business leaders to create environments where employees can genuinely thrive. Renee will champion for a workplace that empowers individuals, nurtures growth and supports safety and wellbeing to ensure every team member has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Troy has a wealth of experience and deep industry knowledge in the electrical appliance industry. Before joining BSR Group, Troy was the General Manager at Residentia. Prior to this he held a range of senior leadership roles across several of our suppliers, where he has overseen both retail and commercial divisions. Through these roles Troy worked closely with some of Australia's largest retailers and gained valuable insights into complex retail environments, whilst maintaining longstanding relationships across BSRs own franchise network.

Graeme joined the BSR Group in November 2010 as Chief Executive Officer and led the group as CEO for 12 years until June 2022. He was appointed a Director of all BSR Group entities in 2021 and served as Executive Chairman from May 2024. Graeme has been the BSR Group’s Chairman since January 2026. Graeme has over 50 years’ experience in the electrical appliance industry having held senior management positions at Sharp Corporation, Southcorp Appliances and LG. Graeme is a Director of the National Associated Retail Traders of Australia (NARTA) and is Chair of the BSR Group’s Remuneration and Nomination Committee. Graeme is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dominic was a founding Director of BSR Australia Ltd and its subsidiaries and has served as Deputy Chairman since 2007. He has more than 40 years’ experience in electrical retailing, operating the Betta Home Living store in Batemans Bay, NSW from 1989 until December 2022, and the Betta Home Living store in Ulladulla, NSW from 1998 until 2015. Dominic is a former Director of Banksia Villages Ltd, a not-for-profit provider of residential and home-based aged care. In February 2026, he was appointed as Lead Committee Member of the Banksia Villages Ltd Fundraising Think Tank. Dominic is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Carolyn was appointed an independent Non-Executive Director of the BSR Group entities in June 2022 and serves as Chair of the BSR Group’s Audit and Risk Committee. Carolyn is a retail specialist with over 30 years’ management experience. She previously held senior executive roles at David Jones and has since formed her own retail company. Carolyn is a Non-Executive Director of Northern Rivers Housing, Regional Development Australia Northern Rivers NSW and National Trust Australia Queensland. Carolyn has a Master of Business Administration, a Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Glenn has been a Director of BSR Australia Ltd since 2007 and also serves as a Director of its subsidiaries. Glenn has been involved in the operation of Betta Home Living Lismore, NSW and Chandlers Betta Home Living Casino, NSW since 2000. Glenn has 40 years’ experience in the retail electrical industry and has been retailing furniture since 1993. He and his family have been involved with the Betta brand for 32 years. Glenn served as inaugural Chair of the BSR Group’s Audit and Risk Committee until 2022.

Karen was appointed an independent Non-Executive Director of the BSR Group entities in September 2024. Karen has over 25 years’ experience as a C-suite executive in consumer-driven businesses. Most recently, she held the position of VP and Managing Director, ANZ of Newell Brands (US listed owner of global brands including Sunbeam) until January 2024. Prior to this, she held senior executive positions at the Apparel Group and Barbeques Galore. Karen is a Member of the Finance Council for the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney and a Non-Executive Director for Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) Limited. In 2025, Karen completed the AI Strategies for Business Transformation program at Northwestern Kellogg School of Management. Karen holds an Executive MBA from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mike joined the BSR Group in January 2025 and was appointed an Executive Director of the BSR Group entities in November 2025. Mike brings more than 45 years’ experience in the appliance and consumer electronics industry. Prior to joining the BSR Group, Mike served as Managing Director of Electrolux Home Appliances Australia and New Zealand and was a member of the Electrolux Asia Pacific Leadership Team. He has also held the position of Director of the National Associated Retail Traders of Australia (NARTA).
