About BSR

Gavin has over 30 years’ experience in the consumer electronics and appliance industry. Starting as a retail store floor manager early in his career, Gavin became Betta Stores Limited youngest State Manager at the age of 25. He then went on to hold a number of National Senior Management roles within BSL. Prior to joining the senior leadership team of BSR Group in 2011, Gavin also held a number of Senior roles at the National Associated Retail Traders of Australia (NARTA) for 5 years in Sydney across Strategic planning, Merchandising, Buying, Category Management & Marketing. Since joining BSR, Gavin managed the merchandising and retail services teams, which provide direct support to the BSR Group’s network of member stores and more recently Chief Operating Officer overseeing the wider operations of the business across many departments and being an integral part of the Strategic direction for the group.

Adrian has over 24 years’ experience within the consumer electronics and appliance industry. Prior to joining the BSR Group in 2012, Adrian gained experience with WOW Sight & Sound, initially as a retail store manager and then for 7 years as a manager in the audio/visual category. At WOW, Adrian was responsible for new store rollouts involving procurement, in-store merchandising and the development of tactical marketing plans. Since joining, Adrian has guided the BSR Group through major updates to the group’s website, email and SMS platforms, digital marketing campaigns and the “Go Local” strategy. Adrian is responsible for Marketing & eCommerce, Customer Experience and IT.

Alison has over 26 years experience in the consumer electronics and telecommunications industries, spanning senior national roles in sales, marketing and management. Alison has held positions with Panasonic, Ingram Micro and LG Electronics, where she was Key Account Manager for Narta and BSR Group and responsible for strategic partner plans and marketing strategy. Since joining BSR in 2017 initially as Category Manager, then Group Manager Merchandising and now Chief Merchandise Officer, Alison is instrumental in driving BSR group's merchandise and supplier strategy, forging strategic supplier partnerships, and increasing BSR Group's share of market.

Derek brings over two decades of experience in strategy, operations, and transformation across retail, consumer goods, and supply chain industries. He has held senior executive roles, including General Manager of Business Development at NARTA and Director of Growth and Operations at Electrolux, where he led successful large-scale business improvement and growth initiatives, established high-performing teams that enhance customer value and profitability. Derek is passionate about fostering innovation, empowering teams, and shaping the future of retail through data-driven insights, operational excellence, and sustainable business practices.

Troy has a wealth of experience and deep industry knowledge in the electrical appliance industry. Most recently joining us from Residentia where Troy was the General Manager. Prior to this he held a range of senior leadership roles across several of our suppliers, where he has overseen both retail and commercial divisions. Through these roles Troy worked closely with some of Australia's largest retailers and gained valuable insights into complex retail environments, whilst maintaining longstanding relationships across BSRs own franchise network.

Lucy has been appointed as Company Secretary and General Counsel. Lucy brings extensive experience in corporate governance and legal affairs, having worked closely with Boards and executive leadership teams across a range of ASX-listed organisations, including Cromwell Property Group and other major companies. Her background includes providing strategic legal advice, overseeing governance frameworks, and supporting organisations through complex regulatory and compliance environments. Lucy’s depth of experience and strong governance focus will be a valuable addition to BSR as the business continues to grow and evolve.
